Hurricane Charley, Frances, Ivan and now Jeanne bearing down on Florida
As most of you may know, hurricane Frances is heading directly towards Florida. As of today (Wed. Sept 1, 2004) hurricane Frances is a category 4 hurricane and is expected to become a category 5 hurricane (sustained winds of 145 mph or greater) soon. We are expecting a lot of rain and winds which could result in lost power and/or damage. Hurricane Frances is expected to reach us by Saturday Sept. 4. *****Update***** Fortunately everything turned out well. No property damage...just lost power for 48hrs. Now, here comes Ivan (one of the strongest hurricanes in history to come from the Atlantic). Even though the path of where it's going to come on land is still uncertain, most are pretty certain that it will hit Florida sometime around Monday-Tuesday Sept.13-14.
Well, we survived Ivan. Just a lot of rain.
Now, here comes number four...Hurricane Jeanne. This one is coming straight towards us.
Sept. 27, 2004...In the wake of Hurricane Jeanne, there's a lot of damage. Many trees blown over, rooftops lifted away and millions of people without power. Mustang Madness Dyno Days
As mentioned in the July issue of Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords magazine (page 28), we are organizing a Mustang Madness Dyno Days event on July 17-18. We have Mustang Dynamometer’s latest MD-600 Eddy Current Dynamometer, which is capable of handling over 1,000 horsepower. We are expecting a large turnout and lots of fun so, we're looking forward to many of you guys coming.

PDQ Performance Warehouse expands into a 11,000 sq. ft facility which includes a state-of-the-art Dyno facility. SEMA 2003 pics and info
Boy, are my feet tired. We just got back from the SEMA show in Las Vegas. I've come to the conclusion that 4 days isn't enough time to see everything and stop to talk with other vendors. You need a good 6-7 days. Anyways, there were some really cool products being displayed and we have signed some deals with major companies that will benefit both us and you (the consumer). Naturally, we'll post any information as we get closer to release date. We're expecting sometime early January we'll have several new products that will amaze you. 2003 Dodge Cummins - Now Available
PDQ Performance has designed the "VOLUMIZER" for the 2003 Dodge Ram 5.9 liter Cummins. The VOLUMIZER gives maximum power and torque without compromising reliability. The VOLUMIZER is designed of lightweight aircraft quality aluminum for durability and good looks. Its compact design allows the unit to install easily. Installation is quick and simple (30 minute installation). Once the VOLUMIZER is installed you will be able to feel the difference. The torque and horsepower gains are felt immediately throughout the entire rpm range. With a flip of a toggle switch, you can go from the stock Dodge setting to 60 horsepower as well as the 100 horsepower program. These changes can be done while the vehicle is running. You will not need to shut the truck off. These power gains can be felt starting from 1900rpm through redline. The significant torque created in the low to medium range helps out in the most critical times such as when passing a vehicle while you're out on the road or while you're pulling a heavy load. Dual 5" tip Exhaust System Now Available
Available for the 1999-2003 (7.3 liter) Powerstroke F-series. This system is constructed of a high quality aluminized steel. The turbo downpipe is 3.5" (optional 4" available) and once it clears the firewall it expands to 4" diameter. It remains 4" throught the entire system and then splits into two 4" pipes after the high flow muffler. From there, the two massive 5" chrome tips are added and exits in front of the right rear tire. Since the most restrictive section of the exhaust system is removed (over rear axle), this mandrl bent system greatly improves the exhaust flow and decrease exhaust temperatures which provides greater performance.

The Predator is the most advanced tuning programmer available today. It has taken the hand-held programmer to a new level. You will notice quicker acceleration, better throttle response and stronger pulling power.

Bowling Green Finals - R.I.P.
Wow, what a event. That was one of the largest attendences that we've seen this year. They were racing late into the evenings to finish qualifying and eliminations. One of the big surprises was witnessing Paul's High Performance 2003 Cobra rip off a 10.87 @ 137 mph. Known for using "another" brand chip, Paul's HP used a DiabloSport chip for this event and the 2003 Cobra ran the quickest it ever had gone before. 2003 Cobra....NOW AVAILABLE
The DiabloSport chip for the 2003 Cobra in now available. With the addition of the DiabloSport computer chip, the car picked up an additional 30 HP to the rear wheels.
We then installed an aftermarket supercharger pulley (supplied by PDQ) and retuned the chip. The final numbers just blew us away. The 2003 Cobra with exhaust, pulley & DiabloSport chip picked up an additional 100 HP to the rear wheels. See dyno chart to right.

PDQ / DiabloSport Dominate drag races
This year marks the first time that a Ford Powerstroke diesel class has been added to some drag race events starting with the World Ford Challenge held in St. Louis, MO. This past May '02, the World Ford Challenge-5 there where about 25 Powerstroke entries. With over 40,000 spectators to watch the weekends events, they weren't disappointed. Even though some of the truck times weren't blistering fast, the action was hot and heavy. The winner of the WFC-5 event was DiabloSports very own Willie Figueroa with his DiabloSport powered F350.
